The Hope for the Homeless event was coordinated by the Grassroots Day Resource Center, Bethany Lane Baptist Church, Mid-Maryland Baptist Association, CrossLife Community Church, County Council member Calvin Ball of District 2, and the Columbia Lions Club.
Volunteering at the Hope for the Homeless 5k were (from l.) Elkridge Horizon Council member Rita Chelton, Grassroots Day Resource Center coordinator Anne Dunn and Horizon Councils coordinator Cathy Smith.
