Best of: Breakfast Spots
What establishment has the best breakfast in Laurel?
Our inaugural Best of Patch contest kicks off with a hunt for the best place to kick off your day. Who has the best breakfast in town?
Experts claim breakfast is the most important meal of the day. So whom do you trust with that great responsibility?
Here are some of our favorite places, but if we're leaving anyone off of the list, please let us know in the comments and we'll add it:
While it is more known for its happy hour and bar, Red Sky boasts a surprisingly charming Sunday brunch buffet.
The throwback chain keeps attracting crowds in Laurel for its all-day menu, but it’s the hearty breakfast offerings that captured our hearts.
The 24-hour diner is the kind of the place you roll into hungry for breakfast and leave full---with your wallet still intact.
Though we are still recovering from the chain axing waffles from its menu at its Maryland City location, we can’t stay mad at Bob. And neither should you.
Voting in the poll below is open until 9 a.m. Friday. Ties will be broken by whichever business has the most positive comments in the section below or in the reviews on their directory listings linked above.
1. Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results and reviews on Patch Places and in comments on this article. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch.
If your business is listed here, learn how to claim your listing for free on Patch by reading this article.
We will announce the winner at noon Friday.
So tell us which is your favorite place for breakfast. And don't forget to tell us why in the comments below.
Next week: Best Gyms.

Sam and Elsie's should be on the list of "best breakfasts". They are the absolute best.

What about Plato's? They have a decent breakfast. They're far superior to Tastee Diner, in my opinion, cleaner and they're right here in College Park.

I'm quite familiar with Platon's, and I would agree. Unfortunately, they aren't in Laurel. But they maybe included on the College Park Patch 'Best Of.'

Bob Evans? Really? This reenforces my theory that people in Maryland can't tell the difference between fine cuisine and whatever was mopped up off the floor at a Waffle House. Bob Evans is flat out disgusting food...unhealthy and inedible. If that's what people are eating then no wonder there's such a lack of quality restaurants in Laurel.

Am I missing something, how come IHOP isn't on the list?
