Gas Leak Contained at Guilford Elementary
School officials wrote the leak was outside the building.
A small gas leak discovered outside Guilford Elementary school was quickly contained by BGE and Howard County Public Schools building services, according to a letter sent home to parents.
Students inside the building were moved away from the leak, although they were not told and the building was not evacuated, according to the letter.
Parents who may have additional questions were asked to contact the office.
