Laurel Police are searching for the man who they said robbed a Wendy’s restaurant Friday morning.

According to police, the incident happened shortly before 9:30 a.m. along the 14000 block of Baltimore Avenue.  

Police said a man wearing all black approached the store manager while she was en route to making a bank drop.

The suspect then put a small semi-automatic handgun to the manager’s neck and forced her back inside, according to police, who said the suspect got away with the manager’s purse and about $1,500 of the store’s bank drop before fleeing south along Route 1.
