Laurel Elementary to Receive Laura Bush Grant
The funding from the foundation will help update and diversify the school library collection.
This fall, students at may notice a few more books in their library.
The school was selected to receive a grant of up to $5,000 from the Laura Bush Foundation for America’s Libraries to help purchase library books.

Laurel Elementary was one of 238 schools to be awarded the funding. In total, the foundation will give out more than $1.2 million this year.
