Laurel Police To Take Over LongHorn Steakhouse
Laurel Police will bring Tip A Cop fundraiser to restaurant.
Departments from the city were on hand to inform residents about services in the city.

The Laurel Police Department and FOP Lodge 11 are going to take over the LongHorn Steakhouse on Contee Road this weekend as they kick off the “Tip A Cop" fundraiser event.
Officers will trade in their guns and badges for a pen and pad as they wait on the patrons hand and foot as guest waiters. All tips raised at the event will go to the Special Olympics, which supports sports training and competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. The officers will be at the restaurant on Friday, Jan. 13 and Jan. 14 from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m.
