Poll: Are Ravens Already at a Disadvantage?

The weather in Foxborough and injuries appear to already put the Ravens behind the eight ball.

The Ravens don't play the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game until Sunday, but the odds already seem against them.

First, the forecast in Foxborough, MA, calls for one to three inches of snow on Saturday, which could leave the playing surface at Gillette Stadium a bit slick come Sunday.

The slick turf favors the Patriots, according to The Baltimore Sun's Ravens Insider blog, because New England receivers may find themselves wide open should a Raven defender slip trying to change directions.

Making matters worse, the only Raven on the team's injury list is Pro Bowl safety Ed Reed, who rolled his ankle on the final defensive play of the Ravens' 20-13 win over Houston.

With the integral Reed playing with an injured ankle on a slick turf, could a Raven secondary that needs to be at the top of its game against quarterback Tom Brady and his stable of ready receivers already be behind the eight ball?
