Security Guard Shot Inside South Laurel Grocery Store
The shooting occurred in the 12600 block of Laurel-Bowie Road at the Bottom Dollar Food.
Prince George's County police are looking for two suspects after a security guard was shot inside a South Laurel grocery store Thursday night.
The incident occurred around 9 p.m. at the Bottom Dollar Foods in the 12600 block of Laurel-Bowie Road.
Two masked men entered the store, confronted the security officer, and took his weapon, police told FOX5, although it is not clear whether the guard's gun was used in the attack. The suspects reportedly fled in a light blue SUV.
Officials said the victim was transported to a hospital in serious condition but that he is expected to survive.
Early reports indicated the shooting was in Bowie, but the store is located just over the city line in South Laurel.

Hope the security guard survives with minimal injuries, things just seem to get worse everyday in the PG, Montgomery,Howard, Baltimore, ah who are we kidding in the whole State, we are all at risk everyday of some wing nut shooting us for any reason they want, but we are not allowed to defend ourselves even under the second amendment, there is nothing in it that says I can only have my protection at home, pass concealed carry laws now, just like Virginia and the other 30 or so states have, If I am legally allowed to own it, I should be allowed to carry it, only the criminals shoot people for no reason.
