In 2009, news of Michael Jackson's death spread quickly around the globe. The King of Pop, known for his unique lifestyle and his chart-topping hits, was gone.
Since then, the trial of his then-doctor Conrad Murray and the rare glimpses of his children are the only things that keep him in the spotlight. But when a good Michael Jackson song comes on, it's easy to find yourself singing along to the lyrics, tapping your feet to the beat and maybe even pulling off the artist's signature moonwalk.

I apparently took my first step on the day that Michael Jackson debuted the moonwalk at Madison Square Garden. My mom still has the Daily News headline "Huge Step For Michael" or something to that effect.

I don't really have a favorite, but I remember that a second-grade classmate whose first name was also Michael used to do the moonwalk whenever we were told to line up (after recess, to go to lunch, etc.)

I'm going way back to "Ben", I loved that song as a kid but I don't know why but I still like it. I guess I am daing myself with this one though.
