1) WEATHER » Rain will be returning to the forecast today. Expect showers and thunderstorms throughout the day. The skies will be mostly cloudy and daytime temperatures will be in the low-80s, but the 73 percent humidity will make it feel much warmer. 3) AROUND TOWN » Sen. Ben Cardin (D-MD) is due to visit the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission's Patuxent Water Treatment Plant today at 10 a.m. Cardin is expected to hear about WSSC's efforts to "upgrade both the water and sewer systems, and to discuss federal options for improving our nation’s aging water infrastructure."
