Hammond Soup Supper Benefit for Grassroots
The National Art Honor Society at Hammond High School is hosting “Empty Bowls 2014,” a community fundraiser for Grassroots Crisis Intervention Center, on Thursday, March 13, from 6 to 8 p.m., in the cafeteria. Admission is $10 and includes an all-you-can-eat soup and bread dinner and a handmade ceramic bowl.
The ceramic soup bowls have been created by Hammond High students. All of the proceeds from the event go to Grassroots, Howard County’s only 24-hour crisis center and homeless shelter.
