Library Card Sign-up Month at Prince George's County Memorial Library System
September is Library Card Sign-up Month, when the Prince George’s County Memorial Library System joins with the American Library Association and public libraries nationwide to encourage community members to sign up for library cards to access libraries’ expanding resources.
Resources at the Prince George’s County Memorial Library System are available to anyone who has a library card. Students can turn to the library for materials, programs and services that support academic achievement, including free tutoring, test prep and language education.
Customers can use their library cards from home as well as any of the system’s 19 branches. The Prince George’s County Memorial Library System offers access to online resources, like e-books, magazines and music downloads, research databases and technology education.
For more information about how to sign up for a library card, visit any of the branches of the Prince George’s County Memorial Library System or go online to www.pgcmls.info.
