Better with Age: Cat of the Week
Oscar has been patiently waiting for a home since tragedy struck his family.
Hello there! My name is Oscar and boy do I have a story for you. I came from a loving home – it was supposed to be my fur-ever home. Tragically, my owner was mugged and later died, so I came to Small Miracles with 3 other kitties. They all got adopted, but I've been here for over a year, waiting for someone to notice me.
You see, I'm a senior cat, about 11-years-old, but I still have lots of love to give!

I’m not as young or as colorful as some of the other cats here, but that doesn’t mean that I’m any less deserving of a home. I know there's someone out there who will appreciate me.
I love to sit on your lap and will be an attentive companion. Because I am a bit nervous at the shelter, I am over-grooming, which means my fur is not as beautiful as it will be once I have a home to call my own. Please give me a chance!

I cannot wait to go to my new home, curl up in your lap, and live happily ever after.
