Feeling generous this weekend? Here's a few volunteer activities happening in the neighborhood.

It's that time of the week again.  You're frantically searching for something to do before the strike of midnight Saturday morning.  Don't worry, Laurel Patch has you covered.  Here are a few things happening in the neighborhood.

 

Laurel:

Where/When: American Legion Post 60 at 2 Main St. in Laurel on Sunday, April 10, from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Why Go: Help out veterans programs and the legion and eat a yummy breakfast for about a third of what it would cost at a restaurant.

Pricing: Adults: $6, children (5 years old and younger): free

Where/When: Frisco Taphouse and Brewery at 6695 Dobbin Rd. in Columbia on Sunday, April 10, at 11:30 a.m.

Why Go: Stop into the taphouse for a cold one. Twenty percent of the day's profits will be donated to relief efforts in Japan. You can even bring the whole family if you want!
