More than 1,000 Thanksgiving Turkeys were given away this week by members of the NBA and the .

As part of a nationwide initiative to ensure families were fed this holiday season, the NBA partnered with the club to deliver the turkeys in time for the holidays. Hundreds of area residents lined up inside the club to snatch a turkey, with several residents saying that they would not have had one otherwise.
