Poll: Do You Like Summer in April?

Has anyone else noticed that spring took a hike and invited summer to take its place?

On Monday, temperatures in Laurel are expected to reach a high near 87 degrees.

The last time similar temperatures hit in this area at this time was in 1941, with a record of 88 degrees, according to The Baltimore Sun.

It might feel like summer, but the indicators aren’t all there.

In Laurel, pools don’t open until Memorial Day, and school is still in session.

Temperatures are expected to cool down on Tuesday, with a high near 74, according to the National Weather Service.
