Covering all things artsy on stage, at schools and in books, Patch was everywhere you wanted to be, reporting on creative events this week.

Poets and Painters Complement, Combine At Downtown Columbia Art Exhibit
While some of the poet-n-painting pairings are a product of the poets and artists getting together, others found fresh inspiration for new works at the Artists’ Gallery in downtown Columbia. You have until March 25 to check it out for yourself, but until then, a sampler can be found on Columbia Patch.

John McCutcheon Delights Audiences At Gordon Center
The folk singer and songwriter entertained an enthusiastic crowd Saturday night at the Gordon Center, which was jam-packed from 8-11 p.m. (including an intermission!). Patch caught all the action as McCutcheon ran the gamut in his repertoire, from old spirituals to original songs and poems. Now you can read what others thought of his performance, or watch the video and judge for yourself, on Owings Mills Patch.
