Singing Laurel's History

The Laurel Historical Society kicks off the fall season September 13 with “Singing Laurel’s History.”, Laurel Native George McCeney, a singer, songwriter, and trustee of the International Bluegrass Music Museum is back by popular demand and will sing songs related to Laurel’s history.  In addition to McCeney, the evening will feature a number of young musicians. Admission is free. Attendees are encouraged to bring along a picnic and enjoy the evening “Wolf Trap style.”  The evening begins at 6:00 on the museum grounds at 817 Main Street, and is free.  In the event of rain, the program and picnic will be held next door at the Laurel Pool Room.
