Spike 4 Life
- Where: City of Bowie Gymnasium, 4100 Northview Dr., Bowie
- When: Saturday, May 4, 7:30 a.m.
- Description: A day of competitive volleyball. Team awards for 1st place, prizes for top fund-raisers. Snacks & water will be provided; concession on premises. All proceeds go to support The Pregnancy Clinic.

NASA Goddard Model Rocket Launches at Visitor Center
- Where: Goddard Space Flight Center, 8800 Greenbelt Rd., Greenbelt
- When: Sunday, May 5, 1 p.m.
- Description: Anyone can fly at the Goddard model rocket launches and there are no costs or fees to participate. Rockets, motors and supplies are available at the nearby Goddard Gift Shop and you can even get rocket construction and launch tips from our on-site experts on launch day.

- Where: 137 National Plaza, National Harbor
- When: Saturday, May 4 and Sunday, May 5, 1-6 p.m.
- Description: The food and wine festival brings together world-renowned chefs, artisanal craftsmen, and culinary pioneers with thousands of Metro DC’s foodies.

- Where: 3800 48th Street, Bladensburg
- When: Sunday, May 5, 12-4 p.m.
- Description: 1800’s music, children’s games, farm animals, trade and craft demonstrations, food, and spring heirloom plant sale.
