Focus Groups about the Proposed Baltimore-Washington Rail Intermodal Facility

If you are a resident living near the proposed Beltsville Agricultural Research Center (BARC)/Beltsville site for the intermodal facility, the National Center for Healthy Housing (NCHH) invites you to a focus group discussion. Your input will help NCHH evaluate and document the potential health impacts if the facility were built in your community.

We will be offering light refreshments and a gift raffle. A focus group is a small group discussion of a particular topic. Due to limited space, registration is required.  You can choose from the following dates and times:

• Saturday, August 4, 2012: 2:30 p.m. - 3:15 p.m. This focus group will cover air and water quality, traffic, and noise.
• Saturday, August 4, 2012: 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. This focus group will cover employment and neighborhood resources.
• Wednesday, August 8, 2012: 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. This focus group will cover air and water quality, traffic, noise, employment, and neighborhood resources.
