Sen and Gangopadhyay plan to leave their current positions at the end of 2014, although both will remain on board as Associates to work with the new leadership team in their new roles. The changes in their responsibilities and the subsequent installation of EBA’s new leaders have been planned by the company for some time.

“These moves are part of a comprehensive succession plan that ensures EBA will preserve its identity, and maintain its vision and mission going forward,” explains Sen. “Under the plan, the younger members of EBA’s leadership team will have the opportunity to assume greater management responsibilities, while assuring continuity and a seamless transition that will enable the company to continue to operate efficiently and successfully into the future.”

Sen notes that EBA’s new leaders “already play integral roles within EBA, and know this company well. As members of EBA’s Board of Directors, they have been instrumental in leading the company’s successful growth. They are committed to EBA’s vision and mission and to the values and ideals at the heart of this company’s unwavering commitment to meeting our clients’ needs.”

In addition to Siddiqi and Patel, Steve Diggins, PE, current Executive Vice President, has been named Secretary. Bob Sebastian, PE will continue as Chairman of the Board, while Jairo Palomino, CPA will continue as the company’s Treasurer.

The brainchild of four engineers, a geologist, and a surveyor, EBA Engineering began in 1981 as a small, minority-owned civil engineering company committed to giving each organization with which it worked an exceptional, client-centered experience that delivers results.

Today, EBA has grown to 215 employees in five offices, providing a wide range of engineering services to public, quasi-public, and private clients throughout the Mid-Atlantic. Despite its growth over the past 33 years, “EBA’s focus on – and commitment to – excellence remains unchanged,” according to Sen, who adds, “I am very confident that EBA is in good hands going forward, and that these changes will ensure the company’s continued success.”
