A Remedy for Drug Disposal

The last time you went to the medicine cabinet in search of aspirin, did you find a bunch of old prescriptions and unused medicine? Did some of them expire before your children were born? You’re not alone.

Just throw them away, right? Wrong! There’s a lot to think about when disposing of unused, unwanted medicine and prescriptions. Proper disposal keeps these drugs out of reach of children, pets and anyone else not given that prescription. It also helps keep our water supply and environment safe.

Adopt a Friend - "Brad" the Shy little Lovebug!

If you or anyone you know is interested in adopting the wonderful pet featured this week, please call the Prince George's Animals Management Facility in Upper Marlboro.

Washington Spirit responds to Open Letter from a Fan

Well, not directly, of course. But let's check the score card after the first home game:

  1. Keep ticket prices low and parking free. $12 and $15 tickets due to the voucher pack. Free parking. SCORE.
  2. Make it easy. Very easy. SCORE.
  3. Don't be gimmicky. Didn't see any gimmicks other than the little MSC Academy teams at half time but hey, that is fun for them. The game, however, was excellent. Good quality. SCORE.
