Every time shoppers purchase groceries using a Giant card, they can select up to two schools to receive points from the program. The points translate to funds that Giant will award to the schools.

Since the program began in 1989, more than $88 million has been raised for schools in the mid-Atlantic region. This year $2 million will be allocated to schools in Maryland, Delaware, Virginia and Washington DC.

Each school’s total reward can be found on the A+ School Rewards website.
