Week Ahead in Weather

Rain is coming. Maybe a lot, maybe a little. Be prepared.

We may see rain throughout the week, especially tonight and tomorrow, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

After that, it’s anybody’s guess..

Today, expect sunny skies and temperatures approaching 90 degrees. According to NWS there is a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms late tonight, when temperatures drop to around 70 degrees.

Tuesday, rain looks like it’s definitely on the agenda. There is an 80 percent chance of thunderstorms and showers during the day, according to NWS, and temperatures should reach about 82 degrees.

Rain will likely continue into Tuesday night, according to NWS, when temperatures drop to about 70 degrees.

There is also a small chance of rain Wednesday, according to NWS. Otherwise, expect partly sunny skies and temperatures in the low 80s during the day, dropping to 64 degrees at night.

Things may start to cool down Thursday, when we can expect cloudy skies and high temperatures expected to reach “just” the high 70s according to NWS. There’s also a chance of rain. Temperatures should drop to the low 60s Thursday night.

As of right now, Friday looks pretty good – high temperatures just shy of 80 degrees according to NWS, and dry, partly sunny skies during the day with a low of about 60 overnight.
