The 9th Annual Thanksgiving Morning 5K Turkey Trot to Benefit Laurel Advocacy and Referral Services, Inc. (LARS) is open to runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. Nearly 700 Laurel residents and visitors have made it their Thanksgiving Morning tradition to support LARS and raise awareness for homelessness by participating in our annual Turkey Trot. Our 5K course begins in front of the First United Methodist Church and meanders along the Patuxent River and throughout the beautiful historic town of Laurel. For those who prefer something more relaxed (but still just as fun!), join the Laurel Historical Society for a 1 Mile Historical Fun Walk as they highlight some of the major landmarks of Old Towne Laurel.
