Looks for Life benefit for Suicide Prevention

Looks Salon and Spa will hold the

11th Annual Looks for Life, a fundraiser for Grassroots Crisis

Intervention Center, on Sunday, Sept. 8, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Proceeds will benefit Grassroots’ suicide
prevention efforts. The event is hosted by Looks owner Marilyn Petersen, in
memory of her son, Patrick Jameson, who took his own life in 2002. The annual fundraiser
has garnered over $120,000 since it started.


Looks for Life includes a silent
auction, raffle and music. Refreshments will be available.  Attendees can get a $40 haircut/style, $25
blowdry, $15 manicure, $12 eyebrow wax and $25 half hour massage.  All of the employees at Looks donate their
services, which are discounted on the day of the fundraiser.
