United Way 2014 Shoebox Project

2014
SHOEBOX PROJECT:
2
EASY STEPS TO THOUSANDS OF SMILES

Support veterans, disconnected youth
and homeless families during the 2014 Shoebox Project Campaign!

It’s time for the third annual Shoebox
Project! Fill decorated, donated shoeboxes with toiletries, including
toothbrushes, toothpaste, lotion, deodorant, lip balm, etc. and drop them off
at local drop-off locations. Once collected, shoeboxes are distributed to
nonprofits serving our most vulnerable neighbors throughout the 8-county region
United Way serves. The campaign runs April 1 to June 30, 2014!

Last year, we set a record! This year,
let’s beat it! Last year, we wrapped up our most successful Shoebox Project
campaign yet. More than 3,500 decorated shoeboxes filled with toiletry items
were collected — About 30 agencies serving homeless families, veterans and
disconnected youth throughout the region received boxes. Let’s make history and
break last year’s record!
