University Christian Church Conversation with DoC's NBA VP The Reverend Rebecca Hale

University Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) cordially invites you to attend a Conversation with DoC’s NBA VP The Reverend Rebecca Hale on February 25, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. at the church located at 6800 Adelphi Road in Hyattsville, MD 20782.  

Rev. Hale is the recently called Christian Church (Disciples of Christ’s) [DoC’s] National Benevolent Association (NBA) Vice President (VP) of Church Ministries. As the DoC’s NBA VP, she will be developing collaborative relationships with congregations and regions to further advance health and social services ministries. She will also be supervising the Chaplaincy Care Program. During the Conversation with DoC’s NBA VP The Reverend Rebecca Hale, she will be discussing her plans as she begins her calling as the DoC’s NBA VP. 

You are also warmly invited to attend the 10:45 a.m. Worship Service on Sunday, February 26, 2012 at University Christian Church (DoC). Rev. Hale will deliver the sermon during this Worship Service.

The NBA is a general ministry of the Christian Church DoC, a mainline, Protestant denomination with over 3,700 congregations throughout the United States and Canada. The NBA traces its roots back to the 1880s when six women in a St. Louis-based prayer group gave birth to a local program designed to help the area’s widows and orphans.
