Community Update

****Warning****Laurel Manor Apartments in Laurel MD is and will be any tenant's nightmare!!! I recently moved out after living there. My daughter's been trying to get me to for a long time. I finally had after many bad experiences. The apartment is way, waaay to small for the money they get monthly from tenants. These apartments are terrible! Here is a list of some of my problems. Me and a few of my neighbors have mice,roaches, and bed bugs. I personally never had the bed bugs, but experienced alot of mice and a few roaches. I don't do mice or roaches! Ewww. One of my neighbor's moved into an apartment equipped with bed bugs. Another neighbor had roaches that came from another apartment because the property manager never schedule's routine pest control. Another bad thing about these apartments is the walls. They are paper thin. I won't go into what you can here, but lets say you can here a neighbor sneeze and if you say bless you, they will respond thank you. When you put a work order in for them to fix things, you would be better of trying to do it yourself. They take forever or never show. There is one guy on the property doing all the work. He is super lazy. The management is terrible. There was this older lady who was a previous property manager. She didn't seem to know anything. Poor thing! Then they got rid of her. Just before I moved out, they brought in a new younger manager . She has a bad attitude most of the time and will talk about you as soon you walk out of office. The apartments have bad windows that are very breezy and leaks water. I had alot of mold around windows do to leaks. My neighbor moved out because of mold that they refuse to fix. These apartments are not energy efficient and are freezing during the winter and you will lose AC in the summer. You will be paying out of your butt in utilities. While the area is pretty nice, it won't be worth your hard earned money. You can get a full size apartment for a few bucks more. Save yourself the headache and please move some where else. I am not making this up. You will be sorry if you choose to move to Laurel Manor Apartments. You have been severely warned.
