The Open Barn of Laurel is back for its second summer!

The Open Barn is thrilled to announce it is back for a second summer of free barbeques and open mic nights. On the second Friday of every month, young adults, ages 18 to 30, are welcome to share their musical, storytelling, and comedic talents under The Open Barn’s roof.

The Open Barn is best known as the historic piece that was beautifully renovated in the summer of 2013 as a venue for hosting barbeques, movie screenings, and, most notably, open mic nights.

Now The Open Barn invites young adults who play an instrument, write poetry, do standup comedy, or weave stories, to perform at The Open Barn. Email Erik Hoffman (erik.m.hoffman@gmail.com) to sign up for the next open mic night on July 11, 2014.
