You Have Dominion Over The Storm

Do you have some storms in your life that seem as though they just won't leave? Do their winds blow so much that you are literally thrown off course? Have you been headed in the right direction then all of a sudden you find yourself misdirected by a wave from the storm?  Hmm... life is very interesting.

Take a look at the lyrics of one of my favorite songs, I Told The Storm: "Even though your winds blow, I want you to know, you cause me no harm, cause I'm safe in His arms. Even though your rain falls, I can still make this call. Let there be peace, now I can say, Go Away. I command you to move today. Because of faith I have a brand new day. The sun will shine and I will be okay. That's What I Told The Storm!"

Now I don't know about you, but I know that God has given me the power to speak to every storm in my life.  Genesis 1:26 tells us, "Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”  Believe in what God said - we have dominion! So when the storms of life begin to creep into your life, use the dominion that God has given you and speak life into yourself. Remember, You Have Dominion Over The Storm. Command the storm to Go Away!

 Now that's a word!
