Cops Catch Purse Snatcher In Maryland City
Anne Arundel County Police arrest Laurel man for robbery.
Anne Arundel County Police have charged a Laurel man with robbery for snatching a woman’s purse in Maryland City this week.
Charged is Jahlil Jamal Starks, 19, of 3635 Laurel View Court, with robbery, theft over $1,000, theft under $1,000 and trespassing.
The incident happened at approximately 9:27 a.m. Thursday along the 3500 block of Laurel Fort Meade Road.

According to police, a 24-year-old woman said a male walking past her in the hallway of her apartment complex grabbed her purse and ran out of the building. Police later found a man matching Stark's description running along Marganza Drive in a residential neighborhood. Police surrounded the Starks and arrested him.
