Dispute Leads To Weekend Stabbing

Anne Arundel County Police investigate weekend stabbing.

A dispute over a vehicle turned violent over the weekend after a man was stabbed by an acquaintance, according to Anne Arundel County Police.

The incident happened Oct. 8 just before 6:30 p.m. along the 3600 block of Laurel Ft. Meade Road, according to Anne Arundel County Police, who responded to a complaint of a first-degree assault. 

Upon arrival it was discovered that two men had a dispute over a vehicle. According to police, Karl Michael Addison, 48, of Washington, D.C. produced a folding knife and stabbed Brandon Renold Altidor, 26, one time in the abdomen.

During the investigation, Addison was identified and arrested at the scene without incident. Altidor was transported to Prince George’s Hospital Trauma where he was treated for what is believed to be a non-life threatening wound to his abdomen.
