FBI Offers Reward in 2012 Shooting of Laurel Walmart Manager

A store manager was shot in the arm during the robbery. Police are asking the public for new leads in the case.

Leads have run out in the investigation into a 2012 robbery and shooting at the Laurel Walmart, so the FBI announced Thursday it is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.

A man robbed the Walmart in the 3500 block of Russett Green East in the early hours of Nov. 14, 2012, shooting one employee in the arm, reports WBAL TV.

FBI agents said the robber forced the night manager into the office, made him stuff cash from the safe into a trash can, and then had him put the trash can into a van parked at the front of the store. Investigators said the robber shot the manager before driving away.

Authorities are looking for the person seen in a surveillance photo from inside the store. A photo of the van was also released.
