Naked Shooting Suspect on PCP Climbs Fire Truck in Calverton (Graphic Video)

Authorities in Prince George's County confronted the Silver Spring man Wednesday in a Calverton parking lot.

Authorities say a man high on PCP shot another man in Calverton before stripping off his clothes and climbing onto a fire truck.

Mohamed Sulaiman Bah, 24, of Silver Spring faces attempted murder, first degree assault, and other related charges in connection with the incident, according to Prince George's County police.

Around 6 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to the 11900 block of Beltsville Drive for a report of a car accident, PGPD officials said in a statement.

When police arrived, they reportedly found a man in the back seat of a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

Investigators said Bah fled from the scene of the shooting and made his way to the Calverton Shopping Center, where he apparently removed his clothing and climbed onto a ladder truck.

Bah "refused to comply with police orders to come down from the truck and remained there for several minutes acting in a belligerent manner," police said.

When Bah did come down, an officer tasered him, and police took him into custody. Several minutes of the fire truck standoff were captured in a YouTube video by user crotti2009.

Investigators reportedly recovered the gun used in the incident. PGPD officials are set to hold a press conference on the case Thursday afternoon.

"We can NOT make this stuff up," Prince George's County Fire Chief Marc Bashoor tweeted. "Hope young man gets help needed."

Let's us remember that this person is NOT from Prince George's County but a native of Silver Spring, Md which is in Montgomery County.

But did he use a assault weapon? Did he own the weapon he used legally? How many round clip was in the weapon?

News this AM, had close-up of the weapon -- don't know if it qualifies as an Assault weapon or not, Maryland laws, you know. It was a blued, six-shooter (revolver) probably a .38 special.

Pity the fireman operating Truck 31's aerial ladder didn't run it out to its full 100-foot length and let the bloody prat take a swan dive off it!

In reference to JAG. It is common knowledge that some people like to "dump" on Prince George's. I wanted to make it clear that this individual was not from Prince George's so no one could say " Yeah, that about right!". The weapon did not appear to be of an assault type but that information will eventually be made known to the general public.

Well for PG's sake you better hope other people don't start mimicking you. The reverse (PG resident committing a crime in MoCo or DC) is certainly far more common and it'd be exceedingly annoying if that fact was pointed out every time it was applicable.

So totally agree with John Doe

if Mr. Bah is a foreigner, he should be deported.

Such info about where he is from is silly and petty. Do u know the crime spill over from PG???? I wish we could keep this forum in PG along with all the criminals.

I know , I know, lets make small amounts of PCP legal, see all fixed the democratic way, or we can put up a bunch of "Drug Free Zone" signs yea that will stop it, oh thats right we already did that.
