Laurel Man Outruns Gun-wielding Robbers
Here's a look at Laurel Police blotter April 21-May 1.
Laurel Police are continuing to search for suspects who robbed a man near Laurel Mall earlier this month.
The incident happened along the 14800 block of Baltimore Avenue May 2. According to police, a 22-year old man was walking in the parking lot of Laurel Mall when he was approached by four men ridding in a brown van who demanded his wallet. The victim gave the men his wallet, then fled the scene and was chased by one of the suspects. The victim managed to outrun one of the men when he entered a near-by restaurant.

Four bottles of Tide detergent stolen from CVS by a black male, 25 years of age, 5’08” wearing a green hoodes zip up jacket who fled in a stolen car that was reported to Prince George’s County police.

14100 Block Baltimore Avenue
T-Mobile and Samsung cell phones stolen from their display at T-Mobile Store. A black male, 5’10”, 170 lbs. with long braids in a ponytail pulled into bun wearing a gray jacket and gray pants entered the store grabbed the two cell phones from a displaying and in the process damage the display stands. Suspect fled on foot towards Cypress Street.
