Laurel Men Arrested In Robbery Investigation

The following arrest information was supplied by the Prince George's County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

The Prince George's County Police Department have now charged three men "in connection with" the robbery of a McDonald's in Capitol Heights.

At this time police cannot provide details on the exact charges for each of the men, according to PGPD Spokesman Cpl. Rodriguez.

In a press conference Friday afternoon, the robbery unit announced the arrest of two Laurel men Tommy Lee Waters, 24, and Todd Wheeler, 24, as well as Brandon Alexander Cunningham, 20, of Largo.

Waters, of the 7900 block of Orion Circle in Laurel, was arrested on Wednesday in Kettering.

Wheeler, of the 8700 block of Char Court in Laurel, and Cunningham, of the 100 block of Firethorn Court in Largo, were arrested Thursday.

"The community played a vital role by providing information that greatly assisted in the investigation," Assistant Commander Captain Genia Reaves said Friday.

Police said they believe these suspects were also involved in across the southwest part of the county including one at a in the 13800 block of Old Annapolis Road in Bowie on Friday, May 11 at 10:25 p.m.
