Laurel Offers Cash Reward For Hit-and-Run Suspect
City police are offering $3,000 for information leading to the capture of driver responsible for accident.
Laurel officials are now offering a cash reward to find the the driver responsible for a hit-and-run accident of a pedestrian last week.
Mayor Craig Moe and Police Chief McLaughlin announced on Wednesday a $3,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for the accident, which left a man in critical condition.
According to police, the incident happened Feb. 29 near the eastbound Route 198 and Route 1 intersection when a white pickup truck struck a male pedestrian, knocking him over the guardrail and into the parking lot of a shopping center. The truck then sped off along Route 198.
