Laurel Police Blotter: Armed Gunmen Sought in Teen Robbery

The following arrest information was supplied by the Laurel Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Laurel Police are searching for two suspects who robbed a group of teenagers at gunpoint.

The incident happened July 22 along the 500 block of Green Hill Avenue. According to police, a 16-year-old, 13-year-old, and 14-year-old were walking along the street when two men jumped from behind a van and pointed a gun at the 16-year old and demanded money. One of the suspects then frisked the 16-year-old and took an iPhone 3GS. The second suspect took a pink and white bag and a Monopoly game from the 13-year-old, and a green and blue backpack from the 14-year-old. The victims than ran, and the suspects ran.  The Monopoly game was recovered later. No injuries were reported, according to police.
