Laurel Police Search for 7-Eleven Robbers

Police want lone witness to come forward with information.

The Laurel Police Department is looking for two men believed to be responsible for robbery at a 7-Eleven early this morning.

According to police, the incident happened around 2:00 a.m. along the 14600 block of Laurel Bowie Road. Two men entered the store wearing ski masks and carrying handguns, according to police. One of the suspects pointed his weapon at the store clerk and demanded money from the cash register.  The second suspect approached the only customer in the store and forced him to the floor at gunpoint, according to police.  Both suspects then fled the store with an undetermined amount of money. No vehicle was seen. 

Police said the victims reported no injuries.  The customer who was forced to the floor left the store before police arrived.

The Laurel Police Department is asking that victim to come forward and give a statement about the incident. Anyone with information about the robbery can call the department at 301-498-0092.
