Laurel Police Seek Applicants for Citizen Committee

Volunteers will advise chief of police.

The Laurel Police Department is searching for a few good applicants to serve on the Chief’s Citizen Advisory Committees.

According to the department, two volunteer slots are available. Members serve in an advisory capacity to the chief of police and participate in police-community relations and outreach to the community.

Committee members must live, work, or have a business in the City of Laurel and within the ward selected to be a representative on the CCAC.  Members are subject to a basic background check and possible interview with a command staff member of the Laurel Police Department.
