The body of Frankie Neal Stewart of Prince George's County, who went missing last week, was found in a car in Prince William County, Virginia.

The body of a missing Prince George's County man found at the scene of a Virginia car crash Wednesday has prompted authorities to take a second look at what they thought was a fatal car wreck.

At 7:17 a.m. Wednesday, police responded to a reported car crash near Jefferson Davis Highway and Blackburn Road, according to the Prince William County Police Department.

Inside the 2013 Chrysler 200, they found a dead man. Police initially reported Wednesday that the man had died in the accident when his car left the roadway.

However, an autopsy revealed “no signs of trauma from the crash or foul play,” according to the police department.
