Newly Sworn PGPD Officer Pops the Question at Graduation

Spoiler alert: she accepted!

Talk about a big night.

Not content to squeeze in just one milestone on Tuesday, newly sworn Prince George's County Police Department officer Ricky Wu took the occasion of his graduation to ask for his girlfriend's hand in marriage.

Shortly after the evening ceremony—one that saw 121 recruits cross the stage—Wu stepped into the lights at the First Baptist Church of Glenarden to ask Ashley Le to marry him. The two had been dating for more than two years.

"The very surprised Ashley Le happily accepted," read a statement from the PGPD.

Wu was also honored Tuesday night as an Outstanding Student Officer. His first duty shift is set for Wednesday in District II.

What about 501(c)(5)'s? these are the UNION tax exempt orgs like the UAW and SEIU who funnelRead More hundreds of millions to the Democrats. Or Media Matters for America who do nothing but rag on Fox News. In 2002 there were 59,000 501(c)(5)'s.
