North Laurel Man Arrested In Car Part Theft Ring
Two men turned over to immigration officials; police say men stole, sold airbags
Baltimore County police arrested three men in what they say was a multi-county car part theft ring.
Police arrested 24-year-old Christian Ariel Pujols-Martinez of the 7400 block of Long Branch Drive in Hyattsville, 32-year-old Maurico Antonio Majano of the 9300 block of Decator Place in Laurel and 26-year-old Dremmier Reinsoso-Silvestre of the 4900 block of 70th Place in Hyattsville.
Police were called to Stonehenge Circle in Pikesville on Feb. 22 on a report of a burglary in progress, where they arrested the three men. Police believe the men were also connected to another burglary in the 9000 block of Brynmar Court, also in Pikesville. There, police say, the suspects broke into a garage and stripped a car's door, dashboard and airbags.

Police spokesman Lt. Robert McCullough said the men may be responsible for more thefts. Residents in Rodgers Forge of cars being broken into and and on Feb. 16, from a car on Versailles Circle in Towson.
"We do know that there were multiple incidents throughout Baltimore County, that there was a trend of airbags and car parts being stolen," McCullough said. "Right now our detectives continue to investigate this case to identify all the specific incidents."

The investigation expanded to include similar thefts in Prince George's, Howard and Anne Arundel counties. The Regional Auto Theft Task Force is now investigating.
Pujols-Martinez was released on $30,000 bail. The other two men were released on $50,000 bail, then turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials.
