The robbery follows a similar incident in the City of Laurel last week.

Authorities say a Papa John's pizza delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday night in Maryland City.

According to Anne Arundel County Police, officers were called to the 3400 block of Chiswell Road around 10:20 p.m. for a report of an armed robbery.

The driver, a 19-year-old man, told police that he had been making a delivery when he was approached by a male suspect holding a handgun. Three more suspects, including a second male holding a handgun, also approached.
