Police Arrest One Suspect, Issue Warrant for Another in Fatal Beltway Crash

Prince George's County Police have significant leads in car crash death of a fellow officer.

 

Prince George's County Police have charged one man, and have issued a warrant for a second person, in an alleged auto theft that led to a deadly police pursuit on I-95 and

Police charged Kenneth Clark Mitchell, 25, of the 5300 block of Clay Terrace, NE, Washington, DC, with auto theft.

The police also have issued a warrant for the arrest of a second occupant— Kevon Darnell Neal, 23, of the 3400 block of Gennene Lane in Fort Washington. He is also wanted for auto theft.

According to reports, when he tried to reenter the Acura TL that was involved.

Officer Adrian Morris, 23, of Laurel, was killed when the vehicle he was driving veered off the roadway and crash into a ditch. He was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at Prince George's Hospital Center. His partner, Officer Michael Risher, was injured, but released from the hospital Monday after receiving treatment.
