Columbia Mall Indecent Exposure Suspect Caught on Camera

Police released a grainy photo of the suspect on Tuesday.

Police released a photo of a man on Tuesday believed to have exposed his genitals inside the Mall in Columbia while following a group of girls during the afternoon of Jan. 13.

Police described the suspect as a white male in his 50s, between 5-foot-9-inches and six feet tall, about 250 pounds, with dark hair, thick eyebrows, square glasses and protruding teeth. Inside the mall, he was wearing a black t-shirt with gold or tan corduroy pants, reported police.

A police spokesperson said the photo released is from a mall surveillance video and is the best-quality image available.

The incident was reported by a bystander who saw the man following a group of girls while touching his exposed genitals, which were hanging in front of his pants, according to police. In addition, a second witness reported the incident to mall security guard, said police.

Police asked anyone with information to contact the police at 410-313-3700.

What a creep! Hope someone can ID him from the picture; HC residents are real good about contacting police in these situations and that helps a great deal.

It's hard to do in a hurried situation, but a mobile phone photo snapped by the witnesses would have probably produced an image of better quality. It looks like the creep is wearing a some type of logo imprinted with the Maryland flag. Maybe this bit of info. could help jog someone else's memory or help identify him. What a ruse, pretending to be a good and patriotic citizen of the State. Let's see how he likes Maryland prisons.
