Police To Hold Check Sobriety Checkpoint Friday

Prince George's County Police will hold checkpoint in Laurel late Friday evening.

Residents riding along Laurel Bowie Road late Friday evening will be subject to a sobriety checkpoint, announced Prince George's County Police.

Officers from the Special Operations Division will be conducting the DUI checkpoints from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. Saturday along the 13000 block of Laurel-Bowie Road in South Laurel.

The Laurel area has seen its share of checkpoints over the last year. In September, the City of Laurel held checkpoints along Route 1 that . Howard County also ran in North Laurel.
