Police: Two Arrested in Assault at Laurel-Area Knights Inn

A woman at the hotel suffered a cut to her arm, police said.

Two people were arrested Wednesday after allegedly assaulting a woman in a Maryland City hotel room, the Capital Gazette reports.

Gus T. Williams, 29, of Queenstown, and Melanie K. Camacho, 24, of Landover, were charged with first-degree assault, second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, and weapons charges, according to the paper.

Anne Arundel County police said that officers responded around 12:20 p.m. to the Knights Inn on Laurel Fort Meade Road, where they found a woman suffering from a small cut to her arm.

Police believe the woman had been in a fight with Camacho and Williams. The latter was reportedly in possession of a knife when arrested.

That's it we need a ban on assault knives, those knives are just like those assault type rifles they just go around doing whatever they want and causing harm to humans, oh wait a minute that is the humans themselves that are causing the problem, blaming the knife is kind of like blaming the fork for obesity huh? Lock them all up for minimum of 10 years hard labor no parole.
