Police seek help in Seat Pleasant Area robbery

Prince George’s County Police are asking the public for help in identifying a man responsible for a gas station robbery in the Seat Pleasant area during the weekend.

The robbery occurred July 29 at a Shell Gas Station along the 6300 block of Central Avenue, according to police. They said the suspect entered the station requesting to exchange an item he purchased. When the cashier was unable to make the exchange, the man became irate and kicked in the door to the cashier’s room. Once inside, police said the man assaulted the cashier while demanding a replacement for his item. He then took property from the store and fled the scene.
